Trips & Expeditions

At The Chantry School, we believe strongly in the educational value of experiences beyond the classroom. These opportunities help pupils grow personally and academically while building confidence and resilience.

Our programme includes:

  • Residentials: Year 7 outdoor activity trip to the Pioneer Centre, and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions for Year 10.
  • Cultural trips: Exchange visits to France, Belgium and French battlefields, Freiburg, Seville and Morocco.
  • Adventure trips: Ski trips to various European destinations.
  • Transformative expeditions: World Challenge trips; in recent years we’ve been to Iceland and Malaysia.
  • Day trips: Curriculum fieldwork and enrichment visits to places like Kenilworth Castle; and Birmingham, Worcester for Geography fieldwork.
  • Theatre trips: Year 7 see a pantomime each year, as well as theatre trips in Drama and English.
