As representatives of The Chantry School we would both like to offer an extremely warm welcome to you, prospective students, teachers parents and carers. We hope you find our welcome informative, and reflective of how incredible The Chantry School and its entire community truly are.

After our four years here, we strongly believe that The Chantry School offers an amazing opportunity for you to succeed academically and achieve the grades you deserve, while also offering many extracurricular activities to help you develop into a young adult. These opportunities present themselves through sport, peer mentor schemes, senior pupil leaders, and many more. All of these are extremely beneficial to your mental wellbeing which is of paramount importance here at The Chantry School. The pastoral support team lead by Mr Lake, Heads of Year and support staff are there to assist with your concerns and worries so you can grow in a supportive environment.

Furthermore, members of The Chantry School have access to outstanding facilities that allow for incredible teaching and you to become a well-rounded person. These facilities include Sport Martley and our newly built buildings such as the humanities block. The school is continually looking to progress itself and adapt especially in these times of new normal. Many have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to enable everyone to return to somewhat normality and a stable environment in September.

In addition, the schools ‘Excellence is all, Excellence for all’ approach makes sure everyone in the Chantry family: students, teachers and support staff alike get the most out of their time here. Many in the cooperative Chantry School community go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys and excels in their time here. The school provides many opportunities from morning running clubs to exchange trips all over the world: China, Germany and France and even ski trips and participation in the world challenge trip- we strongly recommend you participate in as many of these trips as possible to help build character and memories that will last a life-time.
