The Chantry School

Enrichment overview

At The Chantry School, we hold a deep and long-standing belief in the educational value of experiences beyond the classroom.

Our Enrichment Philosophy

Our co-curricular programme is built on the conviction that these opportunities help shape confident, resilient young people by allowing them to challenge themselves, discover new interests and develop essential life skills.

We see first-hand how pupils return from these experiences with increased motivation, renewed self-belief, and a stronger sense of belonging. Whether through lunchtime clubs, after-school activities or residential adventures, we look for every opportunity to extend learning beyond traditional boundaries.

Our extensive programme offers an exceptional range of opportunities designed to foster personal growth and broaden perspectives.

The Impact

teamwork, leadership, courage and self-belief

  • Co-curricular activities at Chantry help pupils grow – not just academically, but personally.

  • They foster independence, broaden perspectives and remind pupils that school is a place of opportunity, adventure, and joy.

  • Whether it’s the excitement of outdoor activities, the pride of completing an expedition or the thrill of exploring another culture, these experiences create confident, well-rounded individuals ready to embrace future challenges.

  • These experiences develop teamwork, leadership, courage and self-belief while creating shared moments that bind year groups together.
