Careers at The Chantry School

The Chantry School is fully committed to ensuring that all of our pupils acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to manage their learning and career progression. We aim to ensure that pupils are fully prepared and effectively informed about their next steps so they can aspire to achieve their full potential. We want to ensure that our pupils have both the aptitude and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and add value within the workplace.

Our careers programme

All pupils receive dedicated careers lessons as a part of their PSHE programme of study, outlined in our careers roadmap.

Unifrog

All pupils at The Chantry School have access to an online platform called Unifrog. Unifrog gives pupils the ability to access resources and information about their future destinations, explore pathways they may never have thought about and get support and ideas to help them to create effective personal statements. Pupils explore this platform during PSHE lessons and are able to login from home too. If you would like to take a look at Unifrog together with your son/daughter, please click below:

GCSE Results Day 2026: Press Release

Pupils from The Chantry School celebrate another strong year of GCSE results. 167 pupils took GCSEs this summer, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements.

We are proud to share with you some excellent headline figures: 70% of pupils achieved 5 GCES including English and maths at Grade 4 and above.

As always, there are many pupils who have attained very highly and many more who have achieved their ambitious target grades.

Thes results are testament to the pupils’ hard work. Throughout their GCSE course, they have been resilient and inspiring. I’d also like to recognise and thank their families’ support throughout their journey, and, of course, the whole staff at The Chantry for their consistent, unwavering kindness, care, and dedication for our young people which has played a vital role in their success. We wish them every success and happiness for their next chapter.
